Do not animate the wrong coat
For an original adult museum guide, a still should show a green jacket beside the exhibition entrance. The image instead shows a blue jacket and the wrong room. Adding smooth movement would not make that asset fit the project.
CherryPop’s generation documentation supplies a concrete sequence: a gallery image has an Animate action that carries it into video mode as the start frame; a finished clip can then be extended. The provider says video spends more Coins than an image, with higher resolution, longer duration and synced audio as premium options.
MyLovely’s About page markets consistent character identity across chat, images and video. It does not establish the same gallery-to-start-frame controls. That is a documentation boundary, not proof that MyLovely lacks image-to-video or reference controls.
Put a gate between still and motion
Use the same brief for either product:
| Stage | Accept when… | Reject before proceeding when… |
|---|---|---|
| Still | Identity, green jacket and entrance match | Face, fixed clothing or location is wrong |
| First motion pass | Intended action is clear and identity remains recognizable | Motion introduces a new face or changes the scene |
| Extension | The added action continues coherently | The clip restarts or contradicts its prior action |
This is a proposed review, not a result from generated samples. The still check catches a cheap-to-identify mistake before a more expensive medium adds complexity.
For CherryPop, keep the accepted gallery still and use its documented Animate route. Check the displayed video cost and options before extending. Do not infer a fixed Coin price from the provider’s general statement that video costs more.
For MyLovely, inspect whether the current account lets you select an accepted still or maintain the same identity in the chosen video route. If a selected start frame is mandatory for your project, confirm that operation before purchasing a large run. Do not treat a cross-media adjective as an exact workflow manual.
Motion needs its own judgment
A matching first frame is not proof of consistency later in the clip. Review the beginning, middle and end for the same identity and for an action that still belongs in the scene. A deliberate camera move or expression change should not be confused with an unwanted new person.
CherryPop’s Terms and MyLovely’s Terms separately retain provider permissions over creations. Passing this visual review does not settle distribution rights.
Choose the route that supports the required handoff from accepted still to motion. CherryPop publishes that sequence explicitly; MyLovely’s persistent-character proposition needs examination at the relevant control. No fabricated duration, quality score or failure rate is needed to make the production decision useful.
