The official creator describes style, appearance, voice, personality and backstory, then conversation and media. It also separates free character setup from paid extras.
01
Recognizable appearance
The public image generator exposes character, style, pose, outfit and background pickers. Map a brief into those separate jobs: keep the adult character stable, then choose the pose and background for this shot. Its FAQ describes custom/negative prompts and edit, angle and upscale controls as advanced paid features; these are not all established as free controls.
02
A reason to respond
Give the character a desire, a habit and a way of speaking. “An adult travel photographer who checks the weather before committing to a shot” tells a conversation more than a list of unrelated personality labels.
03
An opening with room for you
Specify where the scene begins and what remains undecided. Two adult colleagues can choose between a higher viewpoint and catching the last ferry, while leaving the reader’s decision open.
+
Creation is not the whole media budget.
CherryPop’s home FAQ, checked October 16, 2026, says image, video and audio extras use Cherry Coins. It lists Premium as adding 1,000 Cherry Coins per month and unlimited messages. Those are separate benefits: unlimited messaging does not make media unlimited, and 1,000 Coins cannot be converted into an output count without the chosen action’s rate.
The image-generator FAQ describes selecting Animate from a gallery image to use it as the video’s starting frame, with extension available. It says video uses more Coins and places longer duration, higher resolution and synchronized audio among premium options. Review the starting image before adding motion; exact per-action costs and current purchase totals were not verified here.
Keep the identity. Change the scene.
Review a new output against the brief.
The creator markets visual consistency. We have not measured that claim across images or video, so use a practical review rather than assuming it is guaranteed.
Identity: is this recognizably the intended fictional character?
Situation: does the image fit the setting and activity you specified?
Behavior: does the next reply fit the character’s motive and speaking style?
Revision: can you name one concrete correction rather than asking for “better”?
Keep the accepted identity brief separate from a scene prompt. It becomes easier to see what changed and why.
Before Explore
Public or private is a visibility choice.
The creator says you can publish a character to Explore or keep it in your private library, with separate chat histories. Visibility does not resolve every ownership or provider-use question.
The August 2026 Terms give users specified creation rights while granting CherryPop a broad license over characters and generations. Do not treat private visibility as exclusive control or no provider processing.
What the labels do—and do not—tell you.
Does private mean the platform can never use the creation?
No. Private character visibility and the provider license are separate. Read the Terms alongside the Privacy Policy before relying on a confidentiality or rights claim.
Does a Game link establish detailed game-authoring controls?
The home navigation contains Game, but navigation alone does not show objectives, numeric state or authoring settings. Compare documented mechanics rather than assuming every platform uses the same game system.
Do I need several characters immediately?
The creator documents separate histories per character. Start with one coherent brief when you are evaluating the flow; a large cast adds context to maintain and does not by itself improve the first scene.
Compare contextual backgrounds with directed shots, preset-based images, approving a still before video, authored failure, and new media versus prepared reactions.
